Scion employees were, traditionally, all inducted independently. Scion recognised that this was leading to inconsistencies in how new employees were introduced to the company and thus, their perceptions of the organisation.
Together with Scion, we created a new Induction Process for their employees - the ‘Scion Passport’. We streamlined the existing onboarding process, made it more engaging for new employees, and created the vital induction consistency Scion needed. New staff members were given their own handy printed passport when they came aboard, which gave them information about the company but also a series of tasks to do.
The passport process ensured they got to meet the right people face-to-face, understood the structure of the organisation and how their role impacted on others. The passport also ensured they ‘dotted the I's and crossed the T's' with OSH, payroll and their three-monthly follow up.
This was all done in a way that was fun, interactive and supportive of Scion’s internal values and employer brand.
